Interview with Meave Cox

Today I had the pleasure of interviewing Meave Cox.

Oboist Meave Cox is an overgrown theater kid at heart, and has a penchant for performing opera and ballet. She currently serves as Principal Oboe of the West Bay Opera Orchestra and the New Ballet Orchestra, and often appears with Opera San Jose, Pocket Opera, and Livermore Valley Opera. She is a regular substitute with the Santa Cruz Symphony, and frequently performs with a number of other regional orchestras. Meave earned an MM from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and a B.Mus from the Boston University College of Fine Arts. Her teachers include Bill Bennett, Eugene Izotov, and Rob Sheena.
